Client warning: "This host does not meet the Endpoint Control requirements" |
Client warning: "This host does not meet the Endpoint Control requirements specified by your Network Administrator. This connection is Quarantined, with restricted access as specified by your Network Administrator"
Symptom
A user see this warning when connecting their AccessMyLan client.
Explanation
This message indicates that the administrator has enabled "Endpoint Control" on the VPN, and the machine being used to connect to the VPN does not meet the Endpoint Control requirements. The user's connection attempt should successfully connect, but they will then be in a "quarantine state" and depending on how the administrator has configured this quarantine state the user may have limited access to the network.
View the "How do I setup Endpoint Controls on my VPN?" document for more information on 'turning on' Endpoint control for a user and configuring the Quarantine state.
