Client error: "Your VPN is currently unavailable. No VPN Agents connected" |
Client error: "Your VPN is currently unavailable. Contact your Network Administrator. Reason: There are no VPN Agents connected."
f0002001
Symptom
A user gets the above error when attempting to connect their VPN client.
Resolution
The above error means that your VPN Agent is currently disconnected from the AccessMyLan service so all users will be unable to connect. (If you have more than one agent installed this error will only occur if all the agents are disconnected). The VPN agent is the software which is installed in the office network and must stay connected to AccesssMyLan service to facilitate user connections.
Check the Agent by logging on to the host machine and launching the 'VPN Agent Manager' software. (
If you are unsure where the agent is hosted login to the administration website at www.accessmylan.com and click on
Network
and then
Agents
to see the details.)
If the Agent is disconnected click the Restart buttong to attempt a reconnection. If the Agent Manager reports an error refer to the "Agent Connectivity: General Troubleshooting" document for help.
