How do I setup additional agents for high availability?

High availability is easily implemented in AccessMyLan by installing additional VPN Agents. A second (or third agent) which is installed will establish and maintain a connection to the AccessMyLan cloud and traffic will automatically be routed to it in the event of the primary agent losing connectivity. View the High Availability White Paper for more information on the benefits of implementing High Availability over AccessMyLan.

To setup an additional AccessMyLan Agent:
  1. Login to the administration website at www.accessmylan.com
  2. Click on My Account and add a VPN agent Add-On.
  3. Click on Network and then Agents
  4. Choose Add Agent from the dropdown menu.
  5. Define a name for the new agent and click the Add Agent button.
  6. Note the Activation PIN which will be required during the Agent install.
  7. Click on the Download link to download and install the Agent software.
