VPN Agent is regularly disconnecting and re-connecting. What could be causing this? |
VPN Agent is regularly disconnecting and re-connecting. What could be causing this?
The VPN Agent maintains an outbound-only SSL connection the AccessMyLan service. A firewall between the Agent and the Internet may be causing these disconnections.
Some firewalls drop sessions that have had no traffic for a specified period. Configure your office firewall so that this timeout period is greater than five minutes. If your firewall does not have an option to adjust this timeout period, you can re-configure the Agent keepalive timer settings:
To configure the Agent keepalive timer settings:
-
Login to the administration website at www.accessmylan.com
-
Click on Networks -> Agents -> agent name
-
Choose "Configure Agent" from the dropdown menu.
-
Expand the "Agent Connection Keepalive Interval" section.
-
Untick the "Use Agent Default" box and enter the required interval in seconds.
-
Click the Apply button.
