Client error: "Authentication Failed" (error 691, 734) |
Client connection error: "Authentication Failed" (error 691)
This message occurs when the user attempts to connect their client if:
-
The user has entered the username or password incorrectly
-
The user has been disabled by their administrator.
-
The user is locked out following multiple failed login attempts.
-
The user is already logged in from another AccessMyLan client.
-
The user is attempting to login during a time which is outside the “allowed times” as configured by their administrator.
-
The entire VPN account is disabled.
The administrator can determine the specific reason why the authentication failed by looking at the Failed Logins report on the administration website [Click on Reports -> Failed Logins].
