Question Title I cannot connect to the Internet when connected to the VPN. What is wrong?
I cannot connect to the Internet when connected to the VPN. What is wrong?

The ability to do "split-tunnelling" may be disabled for your user.

The VPN administrator has control over whether a user can access the Internet while connected to the VPN. This ability is called "split-tunnelling".

The administrator can enable or disable split-tunneling by:
  1. Logging in to the administration website at www.accessmylan.com
  2. Clicking on Users and then the username required.
  3. Expand the " Network Access Policy" section
  4. Under the heading "Access Options (VPN Client)", tick or un-tick the " Allow Internet access while connected" box as required.
