Question Title How do I print to my home printer while my AccessMyLan client is connected?
User cannot print to home printer while connected to the VPN

A user reports that they cannot print to a home printer while connected to the VPN but have no issues printing while not connected.

This can occur because the user’s PC is attempting to send traffic for the printer down the VPN tunnel. The user can specify that this traffic should NOT be sent to the VPN using the VPN client settings.

  1. Open the VPN client.
  2. Click on the Settings button.
  3. Click on the Routing tab and then the Add… button (fig.1).
  4. Add the IP address of the home printer.
